The commercial stock that is covered by each of these utilities elements is primarily covered by one contract per area to create an effective billing and management process. Domestic stock, including voids, or where customers pay their own bills are not covered by this team. The areas of the business covered under our commercial energy contracts are:
- Offices
- Communal areas
- Customers’ homes where utility bills form part of the service charge
- Car park lighting
- Street lighting
- Pumping stations
We understand how important effective energy and utilities management is, particularly in the current climate. As such we have worked hard to insulate our customers against the rising energy prices. This has been done through proactive procurement delivering a contract rate that will be an average of 500% lower than the projected domestic rate for the remainder of the contract.
We are currently working on the procurement of a new contract that in conjunction with an AMR project to baseline costs and consumption, should minimise the impact of price increases going forward.
