Coming together as a community
Estates Officer Community Day Feedback 17/07/2024
Last week, we held a community event at Cash’s Lane and Kirby Close in Coventry, to meet our tenants in person and hear any feedback for the area.
We want you to enjoy where you live, which is why we’re taking the feedback on board and making any changes necessary to make it a safer place for you and your family.
On the day
We welcomed our tenants from the area to our gazebo, to have a chat with our teams and give them the chance to talk to us about issues or questions they had. We had members from lots of our teams available on the day including the Tenant Engagement and Scrutiny team, Estates team, Rangers and representatives from Severn Trent.
We had cupcakes, leaflets, and freebies available to those who joined us, and most importantly, tenants had the chance to chat to us in depth about any issues they were facing.
What you told us
Our tenants spoke to us about some issues with anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping which we were able to log and take away for further investigation.
There were also questions raised about our CCTV cameras, and whether they were capturing the correct areas and being as effective as they could be. It’s great for us to be able to get this feedback from our tenants in the area and make sure it's passed on to the correct teams in our business to look into further.
We gave our tenants some useful advice on the day and will make sure we give them an update on the concerns that they raised with us!
Our Estates Officer for the area, Jess, who hosted the event said, 'The aim for our community events is to give our tenants the chance to meet us in person and discuss any concerns they have. It was great to get out on site at Cash's Lane and Kirby Close and spend the day speaking with our tenants, listening to what they have to say and taking on board any feedback they have for us.'
