Help improve your estate
Estates Champion My Voice Grounds Maintenance 18/06/2024
Could you be an Estates Champion?
If you’re passionate about where you live and want to help us keep your communal spaces safe and tidy, then our Estate Champion role is perfect for you!
What’s an Estate Champion?
Our Estates Champions work with us to improve your estate and communal spaces by letting us know each month if there’s any good feedback or if there’s any issues with our ground’s maintenance and communal cleaning services, as well as highlight any anti-social behaviour or fly-tipping affecting your building.
Essentially, as an Estate Champion, you’d be our eyes in your area to help us pick up on any issues more quickly and raise them with your Estates Officers directly.
What’s involved?
All you have to do is walk around your communal areas once a month and fill out a form to let us know of any outstanding or new issues that need fixing. That’s it!
The feedback is then passed onto your Estates Officer or Scheme Manager to make sure any issues within the area are picked up as soon as possible and logged correctly.
What do I get out of this?
By signing up to become an Estates Champion, you’ll be…
- Maintaining and improving your area
- Keeping us updated on any outstanding work
- Improving the environment
- Building on your skill set to enhance your CV
How do I sign up?
If you’re interested in getting involved, you can email our Tenant Scrutiny team on customerscrutiny@midlandheart.org.uk or you can call or text us on 07720 143676 to express your interest.
We currently have 72 registered Estate Champions, but we’re always looking for more to make sure we hear from as many of you as possible!
