Our new Involved Tenant group

Involved Tenants 2024 My Voice Recruitment 22/07/2024

Juliet Involved Tenant 0723

To make sure that you’re able to help shape the services throughout our organisation, we’re always looking forward different ways to get you involved in our processes.

As part of this, we’re opening up a new tenant involvement group which will look at some of our back-office services, including staff recruitment.

Why recruitment?

To make sure we’re delivering the services you need, in the way you need them, we have to have the right people in the right roles. This means they need to show the correct skills and behaviours – and this is where we want your help.

We’ll ask members of this new group to assess and discuss our current recruitment processes and practices, and feedback on what we could do differently.

What will I get involved in?

The group will meet quarterly to look at and discuss our approach to recruitment and any actions we should be taking forward.

It’s also important that you get to see the recruitment process in action, to give you the opportunity to really help shape our services. This is why we’ll also invite members of the group to join us in the assessment process for key roles across the business.

This will be as and when these roles become available, but will usually be for management level roles in our frontline services.

What will I gain from this?

Along with the chance to get your voice heard and have a real impact on our organisation, we’ll offer you the chance to improve your recruitment skills.

We’ll help you tips on CV writing and help you learn how to perform well in interviews and assessments. You’ll also learn interviewing and assessment skills from our experienced Talent team.

How do I get involved?

Our first Tenant Recruitment Group meeting will be on Wednesday 24th July, from 12 – 1pm  and will be an online meeting via Teams.
