I’m your local estates officer and I'm part of our Estates Team here at Midland Heart and we're responsible for ensuring your community is safe, clean and well maintained.
Our focus is on building safety, to reduce fire risk, and to manage environmental contracts such as grounds maintenance, communal and window cleaning and ensuring the communal washing area is well maintained.
We have a car park available.
This site also has a no pets policy.
There is concierge on site with CCTV throughout, which is now monitored externally.
There is a communal laundry room on site with washing facilities available.
We also each manage a specific geographical area which we refer to as our ‘patch’. We complete regular inspections across our schemes and engage with partner agencies such as local councils and community groups to resolve any issues that are having an impact in your area.
We also work closely with our Estate Champions and involve customers to ensure our communal areas are safe and well maintained. If you're interested in becoming an Estate Champion, please let us know.
Examples of cases we will deal with are:
- Fly tipping
- Pests & Vermin
- Communal areas
- Property fires or floods
- Abandoned vehicles or properties
- Grounds Maintenance enquiries
- Contract Management
- Boundary issues
